This Refund Policy governs refund requests for digital goods purchased on https://chowthansoftwaretechnologies.com ("Platform"), operated by Chowthan Traders Private Limited under the brand name Chowthan Software Technologies.


1. General Policy

All products sold on the Platform are digital goods delivered electronically. Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are generally considered final. However, we are committed to customer satisfaction and will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis under the conditions outlined below.


2. Eligible Refund Scenarios

A refund may be approved in the following circumstances:

  • Product not as described: The downloaded product is materially different from its listing description, screenshots, or demo.
  • Corrupted or non-functional file: The product file is corrupted, broken, or non-functional, and the Vendor fails to provide a working replacement within 7 business days of being notified.
  • Duplicate payment: You were charged more than once for the same product due to a payment gateway error.
  • Unauthorized transaction: The purchase was made without your authorization (subject to investigation and verification).
  • Technical delivery failure: Payment was deducted but the download was never made available due to a platform error.

3. Non-Eligible Refund Scenarios

Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:

  • You changed your mind after purchase or no longer need the product.
  • You lack the technical skills, software, or infrastructure to use the product.
  • The product works as described but does not meet your subjective expectations.
  • You purchased the wrong product without first reviewing the description and demo.
  • A third-party plugin, theme, or service required by the product is not included or is separately licensed.
  • You have already used, deployed, or distributed the product.

4. Refund Request Process

To request a refund:

  • Submit a refund request through the Platform support ticket system within 7 days of the original purchase date.
  • Include your order ID, the product name, and a detailed description of the issue with supporting screenshots or evidence.
  • Our support team will review your request and respond within 3-5 business days.
  • If additional information is needed, you will be contacted via email.

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed as follows:

  • Refunds are credited to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
  • Processing time: 7-14 business days from the date of approval, depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • For subscription plans, only the most recent billing cycle may be eligible for refund (if applicable).
  • Platform commission and payment gateway processing fees may be deducted from the refund amount.

6. Subscription Refunds

Subscription plan payments are generally non-refundable. However, a refund for the most recent billing cycle may be considered if:

  • You were charged after submitting a cancellation request before the renewal date due to a processing delay.
  • The Platform experienced extended downtime (more than 72 consecutive hours) preventing you from using your plan benefits.

7. Chargebacks

We strongly encourage customers to contact our support team before filing a chargeback with their bank or payment provider. Filing a chargeback without first attempting resolution through the Platform may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of your account.
  • Loss of access to all purchased products and download history.
  • The Company reserves the right to dispute the chargeback and provide evidence of delivery.

8. Vendor Responsibility

Vendors are responsible for the quality and functionality of their products. Refund amounts for Vendor products may be recovered from the Vendor's pending settlements. Vendors with a high refund rate may face account review, reduced payout frequency, or suspension.


9. Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from refund requests shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Andhra Pradesh, India.
